The first important project of the SOSORT is creation of an international database of patients children and adolescents suffering from idiopathic scoliosis and requiring non-surgical treatment. The objective is to perform an international prospective controlled multicenter study on the effectiveness of various conservative therapies proposed for idiopathic scoliosis.

This is on-line database of patients from all over the world, suffering from progressive idiopathic scoliosis and undergoing non-surgical treatment. The content of the database is strictly protected.

Multicenter prospective study on conservative scoliosis treatment is performed under the auspices of the Society on Spinal Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment.

We plan two multicenter research programs: BRACE STUDY and PHYSIOTHERAPY STUDY
